Hello, does anyone know where I can find some 28mm scale Pickelhaube heads compatible with Perry Miniatures' Zulu War or Mahdist Revolt British Infantry (i.e. not, say Curious Constructs or Anvil Industries)? I would like them with just regular faces, without gas masks. Thank you. (Please disregard the other thread; that was an accidental doublepost)

Have you tried Victoria Miniatures? Though you may have to do some work on the badges.

There is this chap on Shapeways too:

Victoria Miniatures, being heroic scale, is not my first choice.

I did look at Shapeways, but $160 USD for 18 heads (especially when I need about twice that number for one Perry box) makes Games Workshop prices sound reasonable.

The Perry Zulu War plastic infantry box comes with Home Service helmets as an option. Would they do?

I was specifically looking for German-style Pickelhauben, as opposed to British Home Service Helmets that are pretty much Pith Helmets with spikes added to them. They COULD work I guess, but it would require quite a bit of conversion.

Steve Barber has FPW Saxon Pickelhaube heads.

Saxons will have a different emblem at the front, but i dont think that will be a problem.

I dont know the exact scale. So maybe you have to buy one package to check.

Looking at some other pics of them, those Saxon heads would actually work perfectly. Thank you Decebalus.
