About the time(1976 or so) Jeff Bridges and Jessica Lange's version came into theaters,Parodist Dickie Goodman recorded a break-in record with the Kong-meister in it. "Kong" was it's title.

I've always thought King Kong was the lamest of monsters but I've never been a fan of apes. Donkey Kong being the one exception. I'd hang out with him and have a beer.
