I've used the ink pens, though I've found over time that some fade when exposed to UV light, so…… |

Micron pens. Mostly shading and some fine detail work: YouTube link link I also use sharpies metallic pens for highlighting medieval armor: link |

I use Liquitex acrylic inks to make all my washes with Pledge/Future (acrylic floor wax) as the thinner. The Liquitex inks have finer pigments than most acrylic paints, but some are translucent instead of fully opaque. My last bottle of Future/Pledge is nearly empty so I may need to find another source, or revert to using Liquitex gloss varnish with air brush thinner or flow aid added. |

I use liner pens for tattoos on my Celts. |

I've used the micron pens for tattoos and putting stripes on pants. They're also good for putting a dot in the eye socket. |

I use the ink pens for detail work like edging (and eyes!) |

I use them for eyes. I paint the white in, then outline it with a brown micron pen, then use a black, or blue pen for the eye dot in the center. I have done trouser stripes with the pens. Over the weekend, I bought a red and a green Micron pen to do embroidery/tablet woven trim--I'll have to see how this works. The pens give me a finer line than paint, and I seem to have a bit more control over the pen than over a brush. Grelber |

I have used Micron pens to write things on painted vehicles with some success. |

jhancock – didn't they just change the name of Future but not the forumla? Model builders are using it. Something like Pledge Multicare Floor? |

I use pens for shield patterns on 6mm figures. I use ink for a final wash to give shading. I often use a fine dip pen and an acrylic paint thinned down to the consistency of milk with them. |

As above … details, tattoos, etc. Also, eyes. Cheap grey felt tips are great for adding shading. Drag the pen along a groove in a vehicle. |

Striker: Yes, they changed the name, but you need to be sure not to buy the cleaner/wax, just the wax. Last bottle came from Kmart in US, which is a lost cause. I hope to find another bottle soon! Jeff |
