The WW2 figures from 1st Corps seem to have rather big heads. Might try a few head swaps with some Warlord heads I have in my spares jar.

I read somewhere that a head should be 1/6 of a persons height.
Also, I always thought that the Warlord heads were a little large and some what caricaturish.

I think it's the helmets rather than the heads.

I really like the 1st Corps figures: yes, the heads / hands seem large close up but are easy to paint and full of character! I understand that's not to everyone's taste but from table viewing height they look fine.
