Thanks, I just bought the first book so will read these when I've finished that one.

Thanks for sharing Dentatus! Really whets the Zone appetite.

On a lighter note I am thinking about converting a fig to represent Boris (from Life of Boris) in Zona Alfa:

Maybe an Esci Spetsnaz with Dragunov would be a good start…

Oh..forgot to ask. Are you going with the "most vehicles are irradiated" approach to the game? There was that BTR in the one scenario that had me wondering.

Great stuff.

Thanks, MartinJPayne. Hope you enjoy it.

CloudCaptain: ZA being a 28mm skirmish game, I'm going with the 'most vehicles are terrain' approach. Large vehicles throw off the intended scope and balance. Radiation factors in as a background Environmental Condition. It's not tied to a specific terrain scenic or item.

Depending on the mission area's Threat Level, each battlefield has a number of 'Hot Spots': locations that offer salvage and possible artifacts but also spawn Hostiles that attack on sight. So not only are players fighting their opponent, they have to contend with the Zone's reaction to their incursion.

Glad you like it, Oberlindes Sol LIC. S:SoC was my first encounter with a FPS sandbox game and I've been hooked ever since.

I suddenly need a Life of Boris t-shirt.
