And should anyone be in London on the last Sunday in January, the King's Army of the English Civil War Society march from Buckingham Palace along the Mall to where Charles I was executed at Banqueting House (at, I think,11:30am) . I'm on the God and Parliament team, but it is a most solemn and impressive sight. |

Didn't know about the Wallace collection going this weekend. I would recommend going to Turnham Green and walking over the battlefield (If it had taken place). Chiswick Park station is close by. It's a great "what-if" wargame. Arguably the closest the King came to winning. |
