Starting on 1/8/19 Flickr will limit free accounts to a 1000 photos. I wouldn't mind paying for the service but $50.00 USD per year is too much. I would do $25.00 USD. So is Flickr Pro worth the money? |

Is the pro version unlimited? And I wonder what happens if after a year should you not renew. Do the delete the extra photos? I have Flickr, but I don't have more than a hundred photos or so uploaded. Matthew |

I switched to Postimage – postimg.cc – when photobucket started charging. No limits yet, and still free. |

Ever since SmugMug bought Flickr from Yahoo the clock was running on the free storage. Why would SmugMug buy a free service when they were a pay service? Simply to acquire more customers. Flickr was by far the larger of the two. I think that this is just the beginning, soon there will be no free storage at all. That's why I shut down my account. |
