Disney just announced that Diego Luna will star in a Rogue One prequel series about his character, Cassian Andor, that will premiere on Disney's streaming service, now officially called Disney+. The show will go into production next year and "follows the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."…."

Pretty much everyone from Rogue One does. That's why this is a prequel. May as well make use of underused characters while the actors still look right. |

Does he die? If they are not in 'later' films then pretty much everyone who appears in Rogue One dies. |

This will probably be an even worse situation than the Solo movie. Cassian was set up as a character who had a past where he did 'horrible things' – by his own admission. In the prequel series, he will be portrayed as a hero, with a brooding side… and that's about it. Really hope I am mistaken. |
