My blog is getting comments with added links mainly. Not sure who it from. Seems to be from Thailand. Do I need to close and start new blog |

Can you make comments only available to approved people? |

Just delete the comments, as Jim says you can limit who can comment or even turn the commenting feature off completely |

Can you just exclude that, or those individuals doing it, instead? Sometimes too, I see where comments have to be reviewed and approved by the owner of the blog, before they can be seen, so that might work as well. |

I've had that happen a few times, I just delete them. |

I've been having that for awhile. I just changed my settings so I have to approve the posts before they appear on the Blog. |

Lol is this a joke question, or have you been beamed in from the 1700's? Itw just spam comments. Delete them. Why in earth do you think it's been hacked? |

I've had similar comments appearing on posts on my blog too… link All in what appears to be Thai (or similar) letters. It does seem to be on specific posts rather than totally random spamming. As others have said, delete the comments and set up up moderator approval if it becomes a problem |

Set the comments to Moderation. After youīve got a hundred or more posts it becomes a hell of a Job keeping track of whatīs been added to the comments sections under earlier postings. A couple of years back I got a head up about some racist comments added to a "Long forgotton" post. It took me hours of checking to delete the 100īs of unwanted spam comments which, without Moderation, had been posted on older Posts. Today, I had 30 plus spam comments, they average 10 a day but today it was a lot. All Written in english, spanish, russian and thaiwanese and ranging from "My bro recommended this site" or Advertising viagra etc to comments not reproducable here. All posted by someone called anonymous.. Must be a very busy Person and Multi-Lingual with a Multi personal disorder to boot. As soon as I see Anon as the poster, I donīt read ..just tick the box and delete. Without the moderating function the comments would have all landed on front of the blog |
