Notice any resemblance to the images in the old Thundarr cartoon?
linkThe main difference in the two shows is that, instead of mutants, there are 8 alien races competing with humans on Earth. Now that I'm finally watching the series on Amazon Prime, I am beginning to see much gaming potential, with the alien species and their different tech, as well as LOTS of fun terrain-making potential, don't you think? It is an interesting show – centred around a much changed St. Louis! |

I don't watch tv, so Defiance will likely remain a mystery, but Thundarr was great. For a kids' show, it has held up very well over all these years. I sometimes consider doing a project based on it. |

Of course, everything in the show ends up looking like Canada: :) TMP link Dan |

BOOO! The game is a crappy MMO- I wanted a solo, FPS sandbox! How disappointing.
For a kids' show, it has held up very well over all these years. I sometimes consider doing a project based on it. I have the collected series on my Christmas list. Santa forgot it last year. :( Doing a Kirby / Toth-esque science-fantasy post apo game has been on my "some day" list for ages. Of course, everything in the show ends up looking like Canada So, this is like an X-Files spin-off? |
