Where can we find background info on the setting?

Details on the HQC setting can be found in several sources (there are links on the contest page):

  • PRIMER : A short overview and timeline for the HQC setting
  • HQC Space Technology White Papers : Technical discussion of the technology behind space travel in HQC
  • HQC Website: The Hive, Queen, and Country website
  • HQC Mailing List: A mailing list for discussing the HQC Universe (the best place to ask questions about the setting or to get feedback on story ideas!)
  • Existing books set in the HQC Universe: Stars of Empire, Flying Machines of the Worlds 1902, The World Beneath the Clouds

The mailing list is a great place for asking specific questions or getting feedback.
