Can anyone recommend a comic book regarding the Vietnam War for 9th graders (high school age)? Thanks in advance.

There was one from the mid-late 60s called either Jungle Warfare or Jungle War Stories. I remember it vividly from my junior HS days.

I agree with saltflats1929 The Nam was a good read.

You could also try Apocalypse Meow. Yes, it has animals instead of humans, and there's a couple in-jokes you'd need to explain.

Most Americans are rabbits because 'rabbit' in Japanese is 'USAGI'. But someone from another country living in America is that nation's animal.
Germans are foxes, IIRC, because of Rommel the Desert Fox, for example.

But it has a very realistic view of war otherwise. Very grim at times.
