I thought there were guidelines and stats in the 20th ed rules, but I was unable to dig them up. How do people handle unruly unreliable rascals who may be more of a liability than an asset? |

That is an interesting question. Maybe look at the Sword in Africa supplement, use Ruga Ruga or Askaris? |

It's been a bit … but we would make unreliable troops use the without leader column (even if there was a leader present) when they needed to take critical morale checks. More than once would have a mob run off when failing to stand a charge. |

I created a class called "Egyptian Others" (including Bashi Bazouk, Gorden Sudanese, and local militia). These units can only use open and mass movement. Morale rolls like regular Egyptians with -1. Fires combat Foot 18" 1-5 1-4 1-3 1-2 Mounted 16" 1-4 1-3 1-2 1 |

Full game stats for Bashi's have long been available as part of "The Sun Never Sets," the original campaign rules for TSATF. If anyone wishes to have these (and the same for all Colonial units and other Native Powers), please E-mail to TVAG@att.net for a PDF of the appropriate tables. TVAG |

Patrick, well done and timely assist sir. I'd forgotten what an absolute wealth of information is in that TSATF campaign rules and what a great product "The Sun Never Sets" is. I've been wanting to run a campaign with these ever since I'd first gotten them from you ages ago. Cheers, JB |
