Holz Matz makes a mat called a "half mat" which is 45 x 34 inches. I have purchased 3 sets of maps (3 X 6 by 4 foot maps) and the quality is good.

I would recommend cigar box.

The material is very durable and machine washable.

I too have ordered from Hotz mats in the past. They are felt with poor customer service and delivery times.

Got a half shore half water yesterday. Very nice. At least check them out as an option. I am quite happy with mine. You can order them mixing types and configurations

There are companies, some local, who will print a digital image to size desired, on canvas. Check your local office supply stores.

Pick out an aerial image of a battlefield desired, and make certain you have a hi-res digital image to blow up to size. Cheers!

Cigar Box Battle Mats are great. I would go with them.

@Hlaven,

What are they like in the flesh. Do they shed or grate your figure stands?
