I'm going to say it. Gygax as a wargamer should be so far down on the list no one could find him. Gygax as the creator of RPGs should lead a list--just not this list. |

He was an avid wargame, co founder of an international war gaming club, and the founder of Gen Con. He may be best known for D&D, but it is not appropriate to dismiss his war gaming chops as inconsequential. |
