Hello all: I am once again hoping to find some historical players close to my place. I am in State College and looking for players within an hour of there for bi-weekly games. I found a great group about 2/5 hours away but the drive just isn't any fun. I play Bolt Action and I am starting to learn ACW rules with my son. I have thousands of points of FoW but have not played with the new version of the rules. I am even up to trying some different games (Blood and Plunder, French & Indian period, AWI . . . . . ). Just don't enjoy 40k or AoS. Have armies and tried both; did not enjoy them. Going to try hanging flyers at Fall In if I can find places to do so but I just don't think that will be productive. FYI, Cold Wars is this weekend in Lancaster. 1500+ gamers expected. Bolt Action, FoW, FIW, AWI, ACW and more on the schedule. Hope to see you there. |
