Morning folks! Finished basing this regiment this past weekend. My favourite regiment of the period, the Chasseurs a Cheval of the Imperial Guard!!! Napoleons "Spoiled Children"! They are all 18mm AB Figures, some are conversions where I mainly did some headswaps and switching of arms. This version of them is the uniform they wore for the battle of Austerlitz when they famously contributed in the charge against the Russian Guard Cavalry at the critical point of the Battle. There are 2 larger commandstands, one regimental, and one with Bessieres commanding the Guard Cavalry in the uniform of the regiment, as well as several other single figur commands. These figures were painted by various people. They are Gavin Booth, Dan Dunnbar, Neil Kenneally, Old Guard, Rafa and some by myself. I have tried to maintain a consistent basing style on all of them to cover up some of the obvious difference in painting style. Hope you like them! Happy gaming and painting folks!!

Yes, the basing is inspired. Dead simple and really effective. Painting is great and whether individually or en masse spectacular. Great photography too. Really different for being shown in the Pelisse look. Although the star of the show is the trumpeter in the Dolmann, I think. |

Excellent work in ' The Grand Manner'. A true reflection of the NAPOLEONIC grandeur. Chris |

I love these figures wearing the pelisse, instead of just slung; great work, and a dangerous-looking unit! |
