Solid list but missing my favorite Tom Tobin (1823-1904) – A frontiersman, trapper, mountain man, and scout, he explored and scouted in the New Mexico and Colorado areas. Best Known for tracking and killing the Bloody Espinosas. |

My two favorites were Charlton Heston and Brian Keith lol. While not a mountain man per se my favorite Bad Ass of the Wild West is Billy Dixon although few have heard of him. Cheers! |
