Occasionally, I'll get a message from a member, complaining that they can't see such-and-such Hobby News story on their TMP homepage.
Guess what? It usually means they have that period turned off in their member preferences! 
Or, I'll get a message from a member, telling me that so-and-so asked him to send him a PM, but the website won't allow him to do so.
Guess what? So-and-so forgot he has set up his membership so that all PMs are blocked! So he's telling people to contact him by PM, but he's made it impossible to do so!
So, where are your membership settings?

You can also turn off specific boards from appearing on your homepage. To review your settings, you have to go to the board listing for each interest area on each of our forums.
