Looking thru the web, I find quite a few different options for the armament on British Airborne jeeps. As always there is a chance that the picture has been mislabeled. I've see Bren guns, K-guns and no weapons at all. I suspect the ones with double k-guns front and back may actually be SAS. How have you modeled them? Thanks, Vince |

British Airborne did use the Vickers K's on their jeeps. |

You're probably right, but I remember reading in John Frost's book "A drop too many" about Maj Freddie Gough "grinning like a wicked uncle whilst firing twin mounted Vickers from his jeep". It's a phrase that's always stuck in my mind for some reason, maybe it was just him that had them though. |

Or its an embellishment to Frosts prose. Or maybe Gough did indeed have a 'special' job on his… The single gun mounts were authorised due to concerns over ammunition requirements despite Gough requesting two gun mounts at one point. Pictures of the wrecks clearly show single gun mounts in photos. |

yes only single k guns on para jeeps, the sas jeeps in NWE could have twin k gun mounts. |
