My wife has decided that she would make a yule log a couple years ago and has been making them ever since some family member decried that we lack the little gold saw and axe, which I found online. Last year I found a small plastic chain saw. My question is what is the best gold paint that will have finish like to saw and axe? Michaels has a spray but it's not the same any suggestions? |

Rustoleum makes several golds, I've used them on metal but they do work on plastic. |

For me, generally, I find various gold paints to look too artificial. Brass paint is more to my liking for minis. YMMV |

Undercoat with brown – it looks better with the yellow metals than either black or white. |

Use any paint. Just paint all three items. |

Thanks, I am actually trying to match the "Classic" saw and axe look. |
