At the risk of sounding like a broken record – you do a really nice job on your 1/72 miniatures. Just curious: some of your units are 12 figs, some 18 figs. Difference? - Ix |

Thanks, gentlemen! @Yellow Admiral, my standard for cavalry is 18 models, but I sometimes do them 12-model strong when historically that unit was smaller then regular regiments, or simply because I don't have enough models and am unwilling to buy a whole extra set just to use a few models (!) :-P Some boxes, such as these dragoons, come 17 in a box, which is really annoying, it's almost like the companies don't care for my own personal conventions of what's an appropriate model count! But since I'll be doing so many dragoon regiments – several for the french and a couple for the italians, eventually – I purchased enough boxes to fill in the 18th model on each unit. |
