"The Orville is the hero ship of the eponymous FOX-TV sci-fi series created and starring Seth MacFarlane. Classified as a "Mid-Level Exploratory Vessel" operating under the auspices of the Planetary Union, the ship carries a compliment of approximately 300 officers and crew of various species. The Orville's most distinctive feature are its three engine "loops" which contain its powerful "hyper-drive." The ship also carries are large compliment of shuttlecraft which are used for both planetary landings and ship-to-ship travel…."
