"Over the last few years I have attended several "introduction to wargaming" courses intended for professional audiences, including sessions at Connections US, Connections UK, MORS, and elsewhere. Based on that experience I thought it might be useful to offer some thoughts on best and not-so-best practices. These comments should certainly NOT be seen as criticism of any particular presentation, session, course, or organization. Instead they are intended as a contribution to more effectively introducing neophyte wargamers to the art and science of professional national security gaming. Moreover, these are just one perspective. I strongly encourage others to add their own thoughts in the comments section below!…" Main page link Amicalement Armand

Good observations posted on a great professional wargaming resource. I've met Rex several times over the years at various Connections conference and he is always insightful. Someone well worth listening to. Mike |
