It really looks like the fellas who do Fantasy and Dungeons have stumbled on the perfect formulas for the SF fleshy creature in The Thing (1982, 2011). And they make it look soooo easy too! Well, in case you want to give it a shot, I just came across these vids on YouTube: YouTube link
