I searched for Rubicon Models at Wayland Games and they state that the models are made by Plastic Soldier Company, for some odd reason. I assume this is wrong, but can anyone confirm?

I do not believe that is correct. I have seen no other mention of a connection between the two.

Just go to their web page.

That might refer to Warlord, not Rubicon, who have their own manufacturing facility. Certainly the Warlord Panzer III and IV kits look like upscaled versions of the PSC ones.

Plastic Soldier Company are a UK distributor of Rubicon models, so most UK shops get theirs via PSC, but PSC don't design or manufacture them.
