Here's a humorous but true article on a hazard for gamers and other hobbyists: human stink bombs

Enjoy and please share!

Please keep in mind that while most of this in the gaming community is self-inflicted, there are people with legitimate skin disorders. If the guy's otherwise well-behaved, in clean clothes and not visibly dirty, give him the benefit of the doubt.

That was a good read. Unfortunately I know it all too well. Not saying I'm a stinker of course!

Every convention seems to have one or two guys who stink. Actually, I think it's the same two guys. I assume it's a mental illness, and wish them well, but I tend not to go near them.

Oberlindes, does one of them live in Indianapolis?

When I was posted with the 9infantry, we settled this sort of thing quite well. We would throw his a$$ into the shower, drag all his kit outside, and the duty NCO would make him pitch a tent outside adjacent to the parking lot. Ridiculed for all the eyes to see. I have zero tolerance for this behavior.

I have encountered a lot more gamers with foul breathe than gamers with body odour.

Breath….I could n't get rid of a guy at a wargame show who was not interested in our game as such, just wanted to tell me that he'd read a book on the subject so he was an expert. I'm pretty sure he had been gargling with pig dung.
