This winter, we will be mostly revisiting 1993… #RetroHammer skinflintgames.wordpress.com/2018/09/26/cheaphammer-40k-the-2nd-ed-revival-project-pt-1 Yep, taking 40k back to where it (nearly) all began! The first boxed set, the first proper Codexes – maybe even the odd goblin green base… ;-)

Don't forget that by 40k2e, Marines were huge, much taller than the mere humans of the guard. In fluff, anyway. You'd be fine importing the Marines into your 1/72 stuff as-is. Instant truescale Marines!

@ScottWashburn – yeah, when we thought about it, 2nd was OUR version. RT had already been restructured by a myriad WD articles and supplement and when I bought my copy in 1992 I barely recognised the rulebook from the stuff I'd read! @nugrim – duly noted, no terminators yet though! @Keifer113 – or just rethink IGO UGO ;-)
