I just finished assembling my Ork Kill Team minis. Again, as with my Cadians, I added resin backpacks to the models. These are Kromlech/Bits of War as were the Cadian ones. Kromlech makes great resin stuff. The backpacks fit the Orks perfectly in scale and it just makes them feel so much more like actual soldiers on campaign rather than just guys who run around with endless ammunition like Rambo. The really cool part about the Kromlech backpacks is that they've also got things like rope, extra pouches, and grenades bundled with them. Brings the miniatures to life!

I think that Boss Nob was in my chain of command more than once. But do we really want to introduce realism to the 40K universe? Talk about slippery slopes… |

GW used to make 'Ork Kommandoes' back in the day, knit caps, big backpacks festooned with gear. Us Old Timers still have a squad or two. |
