In the final post covering a visit back in the summer to Chester, I conclude our trip with a look at the Roman city of Viriconium and the tantalising secrets it retains within over 250 buildings identified within its walls.
Although only a small fraction of this site has been looked at closely, what little that is, has much to tell about this interesting Roman-British city.
