The smoke does look good. I can recommend grey hamster bedding (available on eBay) if you want slightly ‘dirtier' smoke as well.

That is exactly how I want to play For King and Parliament! The figures look like 28mm. What is the grid size on the terrain cloth? 6 inch squares?

I am going to guess 20cm squares, so 8" I think.

20cm grid, thanks. I like how subtle it is, you wouldn't even notice you were playing on a grid unless you looked closely.

There are others that are even more subtle – the cross-grid mats- they do away with the solid line in favour of a small, almost invisible cross.
