Thanks, Joe – that's the part I like most.

I agree. That is why I did the whole Platoon Forward thing. To me it is all about the story. After reading your story I pulled out my FFL platoon and they are currently in the Congo with Sgt Bomba leading the way to rescue some French nationals.
What scale are your figures? they look to be at least 1/48?

Joe – they are a real mixture. Some 25/8 metals; some 28 metals and some Battlefield Evolution pre-painted plastics from years ago. I don't know what scale they described them as – being plastic, they are slimmer than metals. I'd call them 32mm – I'd measure them but they are in the shed outside and it's coooold ☃️

Thanks for your interest; are you blogging your game story?

You have rekindled my interest in my own 1/72 project.

Darrell,
Nice figures. Where do you live that it is cold already? In Virginia we finally got down to the 70s.
yes I do blog about all my platoons. My last one is a German Panzer grenadier platoon in 1986. link
I finished part one of my FFL scenario yesterday and will post that this week.
Thanks again

Joe – I'll go and take a look at what you're up to – thanks for the link.

I'm in the UK and it's not that COLD (50-55f) but feels cold when it goes dark. I was reluctant to leave the warm house and shiver even for a few minutes, I'm ashamed to say😊

Darrell,
I hear you; I lived in England from 2011-2014 so I know about damp cold. It is funny how you slowly forget. What I missed most about US weather was the sun. I could go 7-10 days without a sunny day in the UK. Here never more than 2 days. Of course here you sweat mercilessly 4 months of the year with high humidity.

Cheers

Joe
