I love the 1806 campaign because of the potential "what if". I think the Prussians could have held their own against the French if they had better strategic level commanders. The field commanders were good enough and the soldiers definitely thought that they were better than the French so morale was high.
Alas, I'll never get the opportunity to game it because my group is not interested in doing that. So, I'll be putting all of my 1806 28mm Prussians up for sale soon.

All those great 1/72's. Love it! I didn't see what rules were being used on the blog post. Love all the conversions and old school airfix figures.

@ 18th century Guy

I hope the sale of the collection will lead to something better!
Otherwise, letting others dictate what you can or cannot, in the Hobby you adore, is not of your best interest.

If I had SETTLEd to that same scenario, I would have sold some 6000 figs at 50 cent on the dollar. I just chose to play with others and put on the games, though travel is now required.

Nice

And good to see some old fashioned Airfix – especially the George Washington sets as Prussians

Very nice indeed. Although my Airfix chaps are in plastic heaven they do bring back memories.

Well done.

Best wishes,

Chris
