Hi all my latest Fronk Rank Polish, I really like the sculpts on these.

I hope you like them, the flag is by GMB Designs.

Very nice! The basework really adds to it as well.

Great stuff. Now this is way out of my comfort zone (anything pre 1815 is let us face it)…..

But are these not Duchy of Warsaw lancers rather than Vistula Legion? Many details, eg the cap badge, suggest that. Often confused, but there is a difference.

Wish I could do overall stripes or the straps holding the portmanteau that well. I often save pics of your work as instructive.

Thanks all..

deadhead like so many Napoleonic units they are not made at this time and as no one makes 28mm Vistula Lancers- we make do and mend. Hopefully Roger at Murawski Miniatures will have some commissioned to match his excellent Vistulae Legion Infantry.

They do seem very hard to find as metal 28mm figures indeed. Odd for such a famous unit, with a very distinctive uniform. I did find an earlier posting indeed suggesting that Murawski were looking at this.

Great work and I would not care to see this lot coming at me out of the gloom, when not in square! They can have the flag for all I care……….
