Is the Airfix kit the only one really available? I suppose it serves the purpose but I dont like the turret version they picked. It's almost like they said to themselves, let's pick the uglier turret.

Fujimi also has a KT, their original and the old NittoKagaku one – excellent with interior

There's one in the Pegasus line of snap kits.

The Fujimi tank is hard to assemble? It's for wargaming and I wont be doing the work and dont want to inflict lots of assembly on my painter.

Will the Pegasus model be too large next to 1/76 scale kits?

you could go 3D printing, I can do a king tiger in 1/76 with either turret.

I don't notice a lot of difference between 1/72 and 1/76, but I don't get real worked up over it either. The Pegasus models also come two to a box. Besides, a Tiger II ought to look big. If you think it might bug you, don't do it.

I havent held a plastic or metal vehicle kit in my hands in eons. I might not even notice the difference.

But sometimes scales DO clash like Kellys Heroes make of WW2 figgies next to say AB or SHQ.

It wouldnt bug me if theyre close in size.

What would bug me is if the gun barrel is lame. Do I need to buy a metal replacement?

@Babytubits

What do you print such a model off of, kit plans or actual vehicle specs? And, what material is that 3D mold tank made from?
