I am with Bill on this, Doomsday machine is one of the best ever episodes of ST:TOS, tribbles are just too…obvious.

Tribbels Are cool, but doomsday machine is an excellent story on many levels.

I think "Balance of Terror" and "Where No Man Has Gone Before" should be in there too. "City on the Edge of Forever" pretty good too. Written by Harlan Ellison.
