I am with Bill on this, Doomsday machine is one of the best ever episodes of ST:TOS, tribbles are just too…obvious.

I think "Balance of Terror" and "Where No Man Has Gone Before" should be in there too. "City on the Edge of Forever" pretty good too. Written by Harlan Ellison.

Doomsday was my pick as well. William Windom's performance as Admiral Decker was outstanding.
