Does anyone know which USAF aircraft were flying out of Mertyle Beach AFB in 1972?

I know in early 80's it was A-10s, would suspect early 70s F-4s

Yeah, I new that they had switched over to A10s in the late 70s, but couldn't place the type before that, thanks for the info and link.

Probably could have easily went to Myrtle beach AFB as I worked on A-10 in RAF Bentwaters 78-80 (missing the ufo encounter by few days) but went to Langley afterwards.

Just barely remember for 1 second I had a choice between SAC or TAC, and thought SAC ment lonely frozen AFBs so said fighters real quick.
