For the Warhammer 40,000 game, how many Space Marine chapters can you field on the tabletop? |

Do the Death Guard count? I am working on some Death Guard. If partially completed Death Guard count, then just the one: Death Guard. |

A chapter is around 1000 marines. So I guess pulling all my bits and pieces together around three companies worth. Of course mine vary between Space Crusade (the game), Beaky (the original boxed multi-pose set), Standard (old style) and Chaos Marines. I prefer to operate them as a 'modern-ish' Platoon consisting of Platoon Command Group, Heavy Support Weapons Group and 3 Sections of Section Command Group, Scout Group, Gun Group, Rifle Group. I have extensive Paper Hammer armour and flyers (print as required). |

Just one I made up myself back in the 1980's, The Space Scots. I gave them a tartan shoulder pad, some I put a few in enormous tams with big bushy red and blonde beards made of Green Stuff. I made a set of bagpipes for one figure out of Green Stuff and plastic sprue. The idea was they were a long lost colony of humans rediscovered on the planet "New Nova Scotia" who were influenced by Chaos but still fiercely loyal to the Emperor so the authorities are somewhat ambivalent about them. Close combat specialists with power axes, chain sword broadswords and targes. |

One, but between regular "vanilla" marines and the shiny new Primaris marines I have well over 100 space marines of all types and sizes. Closer to 150 probably, not counting vehicles and dreadnoughts. |

I am working on two companies of Crimson Fists. Fully kitted with Elites, Scouts, bikes, a separate command contingent for Pedro, and you have the depleted chapter as it stands now. I do want to make a home brew of my own someday that has the battle companies fully kitted and that would be it. I just don't feel like doing 10 squads of assault marines or devastators for the reserve companies. As it is home made, I can change affiliation whenever I want from, loyalists, renegades, or traitors. |

-9999 Are we talking Giant marines and Sigmar marines also? I have some marines to sell, so at about 1:100 on the table, I guess I do have a chapter. Are we only talking 1:1? Then none. Is yes a sadder answer than not having one? How many would GW have? Too many questions! |
