As long as SOMEONE did… I understand the Typhoon theory isn't the most convincing of the possibilities, and I've read elsewhere that the tank-busting successes of the Typhoons were overstated- best at interdiction attacks perhaps. It's impossible to say precisely who was exactly where and what they were doing, not helped by the records of the Sherbrooke Fusiliers being destroyed soon after, and of course the Allies not even being aware of Wittman being killed there until after the war. |
