Could you explain the pluck mechanic? I dunno understand. +2 is good and every plus there after is worse? OK but The top of the range pluck is 2+, so without some factor reducing that pluck the character will survive anything 9 times out of 10. what then would be needed to rolled to effect the +2 pluck character? Oh and the attacker(?) rolls 2 dice, one is attack, 1 is the defenders pluck? |

You roll a D10 and need to equal or better the pluck so 2+ is twice as good as 3+, 1/10 fail vs 2/10 fail. 2nd point yes. You need to beat or equal the defender's armour then they must fail their pluck. The most likely result is that pluck will be passed unless some serious weaponry is involved. |

Where did you get the Tintin figures? |

I guess I still don't get it. If I, as the attacker, must roll the defender's pluck, or greater, then a defender with a pluck of 2 will be lose 9 times out of 10 not win 9 times out of 10. Unless the attacker must roll less than the pluck. Or, perhaps you mean the defender rolls the pluck dice? And therefore he must roll a 1 to lose? You write the attacker must beat or equal the defenders armour. What is the armour level of a normal person? Would Tin Tin and Tarzan have a larger value of armour? |

The figures are from 1st Corps. Copplestone also makes a "sleuth" set with just Tintin and Snowy. |

It does not matter who rolls the dice >= pluck is a pass. Standard armour is 7 but many weapons reduce this and armours of 11+ do exist. |

I have that tall "idol" aquarium piece, turned it into an Orc idol with a fire inside it. |

Love it! I've been a Tintin fan since I was about 6 years old! |
