I have seen the new Warlord figs only in photos. I have a platoon of the Perry's. How well will they mix in size?

Not at all. Perry's are true 28's more like 25 mm. The Warlord's are more heroic. A little chunkier. They go well with Artizan miniatures. I am currently painting a box of the new warlord 8th army, to go against my Artizan DAK.

I have Perry Desert Rats. They are less chunky then Warlord.

I painted quite a few of WWII Perrys and Warlords.

My opinion FWIW is that the Perrys look much more like actual people while the Warlords paint easier. As a modeler, they provide different (and enjoyable) painting experience.

I have both on my table with zero problem. I would not really mix them in the same squad.

If you have the Perry's already why change? You can pretty much all you need for desert warfare from them. The Perry plastic boxes are better done than Warlords IMHO. You get much more variety with the Perrys.
