To game the Boston Tea Party. A bunch of civilians dressed, like farby reenactors, as Mohawk Indians. I might buy a pack or two, to get all the variants, but would be lost over how to use them. Maybe the British occupying force could intervene. Using Gloire rules? I would have to dust them off. Anyway, on a scale of 1 for no interest at all to 10 for "what a brilliant idea!", what would be your interest in a range of 28mm Sons of Liberty? (Johnnie Tremaine's sweetheart should be really cute!) Let's not forget normal civilians. Not just Minutemen with muskets cut away. |

Civilians are already out there, although many are just "18th century", not specifically AWI. Perry is just one manufacturer. If no one wants to make Tea Party figs, how about mixing parts from Warlord's plastic Woodland Indians and Militia? Just a thought. |

Not very interested – so a 3. Jim |

I was a fan of both the movie and the book, so I would be interested in getting some figures. Manly for nostalgia reasons only. So, a 5? |
DisasterWargamer | 13 Sep 2018 3:15 p.m. PST |
Might be an interesting Pulp Fiction scenario with figures |

2. Now Daniel Boone, Mingo and Rebecca that's another story

7. Would also want rioting crowd figures for the Boston Massacre, including Blacks and Irish with slushballs/cobblestones and daggers. Donnybrook skirmish games and/or 7TV would be my first rules choices. |

0. But I would play the game! |

6. I like the idea, and I even remember seeing a Wargames Illustrated scenario based on it, but it's the kind of thing you play once and then probably not often again? I would much rather see dedicated midnight riders or Sons of Liberty personality figures in a similar vein. |

Figures from the Daniel Boone television show would be great! |
Winston Smith | 14 Sep 2018 10:08 a.m. PST |
Personality figures would indeed be fun. Sam Adams, skulking with a pistol, waiting to fire the "shot heard around the world" at Lexington. Ditto John Hancock trying not to get captured. Paul Revere getting captured, and Dawes and Prescott getting through. The Boston Massacre with the British in the obsolete uniforms, Crispus Attucks, slovenly riotous mobs. Yes indeedy. And use Gangs of New York rules. |
miniMo | 14 Sep 2018 10:36 a.m. PST |
Governor Hutchinson at bay defending his Boston mansion from the mob. Lieutenant Colonel William Dalrymple commanding. Don't leave out Margaret Kemble Gage, femme fatale. And a general cast of Boston women: Mercy Otis Warren, correspondent and provacateuse: link Abigail Adams, not usually in the thick of things, but Abigail. Sybil Ludington, technically of NY/CT, but no reason not to have her on horseback for a good storyline! link With a full cast assembled and some landmark buildings, i could see this for ongoing games with 7TV playing episodes of the upcoming hit series "Sons of Liberty".
