Just finished and ready to scout ahead! They are for playing Battlegropup Blitzkrieg as a motrocycle recce patrol. Composed of an FM 24/29 LMG team and a rifle team. They are TQD castings from CP models. I would later post a painting guide for them i´m working on. Their bikes are still WIP, but, being SHQ are much less detailed and far smaller in scale.
Hope you liked them,
Regards, Diego |

Vive la Republique! One question though, the diamond-shaped patches on the figures' arms appear to be squadron/company markings. I know those markings were applied to vehicles. I was not aware they were worn on uniforms. They look cool, and the French were certainly noted for adding improvised markings, but do you have any photographic evidence for them being worn on uniforms? |

no evidence , on the arm's there is the place for the unit marking worn on collar in common uniform , with a piece to cover it …

Would motorcycle troops in Tunisia have worn this same uniform? At my scale (6mm) I am considering how I might substitute / kit-bash to get some Motorcycle-born Dragons. I'm thinking perhaps GHQ Polish Individual Infantry figures. For the motorcycles themselves I'm afraid I'll be stuck with German side-car combos, but with a bit of filing on the helmets and a magazine added to the top of the LMG, they might work out well enough. -Mark (aka: Mk 1) |
