GW actually had one or two halfings in at least one of their Rogue Trader lines.

You may be able to find one on the secondary market.

You could also take a fantasy halfling and switch out its sword/dagger for a pistol, so it would look more "sci-fi".

I'll second Hasslefree's Grymn s being very Halfling-ish,
both in scale and appearance
( Certainly as compared to the majority of 'space dwarves).
