Remember what Barrow's town rebel Beau's* t-shirt said? :) I'd love to find a still/screen cap of his t-shirt, so that I can paint a figure I have. Even if it turns out too small to be legible, I'd still like to get the general colors right. What color was it? Anyone recall how the letters were placed? Did it have any artwork? And how in the world does one go about painting t-shirt slogans on a 15mm figure anyway! :) Thanks Dan * Played by actor Mark Boone Jr. link

Okay, so it's not going to be even remotely legible then, with all the letters on the same line. I imagine that there's a ship or a whale beneath the letters. I guess I'll have to wing it then. Hmm. Plus it wasn't even a t-shirt but a jersey. I'll have to add sleeves with green stuff. Thanks for the helpful picture though. Dan PS. The figure I have doesn't have a coat. So I'll go with very dark gray (almost black) for the jersey, and then lightly stipple some white across the chest with the tip of my smallest brush.

It says "Keep on Whaling" Not sure if it says anything below that |

Instead of a brush, I'd use the point of a pin (unless you have a brush with one bristle. ;-) Paint a white line, then use teeny tiny drops of paint (with some slo-dri, so it doesn't dry instantly) to fill in around the letters. And the biggest magnifiers you can find… ;-) |

Zephyr1 "With some slo-dri"? Is that some sort of retardant? I've heard a little bit about retardants, but I'm still not sure when or how to use them. Dan |

Yeah, it's by Liquitex (though they might have changed the name since I last bought some.) You add a drop to your paint & it doesn't dry up as fast on your palette. |

Did that movie start out as a role-playing game? I could see doing it as a Delta Green scenario. |

I think it started as a comic book, ahem, I mean graphic novel. :) Dan |
