I am having a discussion on Facebook about the last operational use of the Sherman by the US. I assume that it would be Korea but the other party says Vietnam. I have asked for a source for this?
I found something that said the ARVN had some still hanging around but I have never seen a photo of one in use by the US. Perhaps he is thinking of the French?

ARVN in'65, retired from US Army in '57.

(The Paraguayan Army retired their last Sherman's in April 2018.)
