"Rogue Trader: Elucidian Starstriders and Gellerpox" Topic

GW just released some more images of these guys.

This looks like a sweet set.

I'm guessing this will come out as a big boxed set and then the individual kill teams will be released on their own either at the same time or later.

This four week period starting two weeks ago is shaping up to be expensive for me.

First Adeptus Titanicus, this week Reaver titans and the week following Rogue Trader.

I will have spent more money in this 4 week period from mid august to mid september on GW stuff than I did from 2005 to 2015 probably.

Yech. I'm not into grotesque. An easy pass for me.

So this is a Kill Team expansion, not a stand-alone? Which means I need to snag a KT rule book to play.

Love the idea but that pushed it a few slots down on the 'to get' list.

I too will pass, don't care for demonic looking things.

What I find cool is the number of female models include in these. The Imperium models look to be about half females, with only one (the assassin) being "scantily" clad and all but two of the Nurgle warband are women.

I know it is just GW pandering in an attempt to attract more female gamers, but it is still a win in my book.

I think it will probably contain a copy of the Kill Team rules in it. At least I think it will basically count as a one off set, like a second Kill Team boxed set. If you read the links I posted you will see that there are parts in there that talk about new rules for commanders. I can imagine they will be in the rule book that comes with this set.

Odd. I only see six females in the whole set: the Captain, the assassin, the doctor, the dog and two of the fly things.

Thanks Pictor. If it's a complete, alternate KT set, I'll probably pick it up then.

UPDATE: Just went to GW site and you'll need a copy of the core KT rules to play.

Oh well… Not like I don't already have plenty to do.

I see that. That sucks. I guess this is an expansion for Kill Team. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to buy the core rules separate but I guess I will.
