Wonderful report. Wonderful game. Wonderful to see DBR being used and enjoyed. |

Elephant armies are always cool! |

Superb presentation. Moguls was one of my DBr armies back when it was more popular, a fun force with lots of unusual troops. The jezzailachi Sk(s) were worth their weight in silver. I found the army struggled against good quality European pike&shot formations but were happy to take on pretty much everything else. Db |

DBR was always my favourite of the DBx family, with the possible exception of HotT. It's good to see it still being played. |

Very nice armies that you don't see everyday. But I do wonder how long elephants would last against a barrage of jezail fire. |

Probably why they gradually declined in popularity except as command mounts, in which role they presumably were not in musket range so often. |

Nice figures- who makes those? |

Look like Grumpy's Miniatures from Eureka. |

No Grumpy's but quite a mixture of manufacturers including; Donnington, Essex, Museum, Irregular, Freikorps, Black Hat (ex Gladiator), Outpost…etc. I do have a set of Grumpy's Colonial Portuguese, which will be my next 15mm project to augment my sub-continental options :) |

Great batrep. I also have Mughals, puts most fantasy armies to shame :) |

Mughals: the only DBR army with every artillery type as an option. |

Beautiful setup. Figures are excellent. Love the elephants. Great use of pavaise. In the next to last picture, right bottom, why is that element of blades perpendicular to the shooters? In the first decade of the 21st century, our group played many games of DBR including many Mughal but not as nice as these :) |

Sorry only just seen your query and honestly can't remember why the blades were there. I know they were on the same side, perhaps the shot had just been forced back? |
