No, sadly, it's not. There is an interesting argument to be had, but these two aren't up to it. One of them completely misses the hit or miss quality of post-1968 liberal morality, and the other--well, just for instance, a guy who doesn't know that the Amish frequently have and use cell phones is in a very poor position to pontificate on their allegedly "anti-technology" philosophy. To arrive at sound conclusions, one needs facts and reason. This pair is ill-equipped. |
