Plastic Custom Cast. That's new to me too.

I haven't seen Custom Cast on a table in decades. CC was cast locally, and I knew some of the casters. They used to cast up batches of figures, spray paint them the predominant uniform color and play games with them. The casualties were smashed with a hammer and thrown back into the melting pot. I've never seen nor heard of plastic; perhaps one of the casters was experimenting. I dunno.

One of our newer gamers was involved with the beginnings of Custom Cast, providing uniform information to the sculptors. He also had never heard of them being "cast" in plastic either.

Brilliant figures. Especially like the 14th Continental Regiment and the Marylanders. The custom casts bring back a lot of happy memories.
